How could animal farm represent economic and social systems?

The first chapter of Animal Farm can represent economic and social systems in many ways because it has lots of references to the economic and social systems. It states that the farmer chouses every thing for the animals in the farm. This tells me he represents a dictator because he bullies and forces the animals to do things so he can get his way. Also Major’s speech was about how all the animals should be united and over throw the farmer. This reminds me of communism. It reminds me of communism because it shows that every one should be equal in their rights even the rats. This also fallows Carl Marks theory were it goes form a monarchy to a free trade system to a dictatorship and then to a communist economical set up. So far there has been lots of references to economical and social systems so far and we are only in the first chapter.

How power can be lost

Power can be easily lost in many ways. One situation that power can be lost is in an average marriage. That can be explained by the other spouse starts to make the main income for the family that could change the balance in power in the spouses relationship. While this may make their life easier is also could be bad because the other spouse could fell inferior or not as important as they were in the past. Another situation where power could be lost is in the work place. If your boss was demoted you may be given control over them. After this happened it would be very difficult for your old boss to take orders from someone who they would give orders to. It would be a radical change in a work relationship which could be proven to be difficult to work around. In summery there is lots of ways to lose power.

what caused WWII

There was a lot of contributing factors to why the second would war was started but the contribution was the rise of Hitler. Hitler came to power on January 30th 1933. He was one of the evilest people ever to walk the earth. He attacked all over Europe. He could not be resound with. He also murdered countless Jews. He thought they were an inspirer race. So he tried to wipe the whole people of the face of the earth. He sent them to concentration camps to die and have horrible experiments don on them. It is estimated that he murdered six million Jews. Witch was about two-thirds the European Jewish population. He was allied with the Japanese in the Second World War. America was allied with basically the rest of the world. It was a very bloody war. And if it was not for Hitler this could of bin avoided.

What is Judaism?

This is the Star of David. Some people see it as a negative image because its role in the holocaust. What it does represent sort of like a compass rose showing god has power of all directions.

Intro: Judaism is one of the largest religions practiced today. About 14 million people are proud to be part of this noble religion. It has become a key part of most of the world’s heritage today

How it began: in modern day Europe around 1300 BC by Abraham, according to the Torah Abraham was commanded by god to go to the land of Canon witch is roughly around Israel or Lebanon. During this time they wrought there holy book the Torah.

The followers: half of the followers of Judaism are in the United States, Israel and Europe. There over 14 million followers of the Jewish faith world wide.

Traditional clothing: some religion regulates them to wear pre-selected clothes. In Judaism some Jews have long side locks. They are not allowed to shave on holy days. Also they were a Yamaka to show that there ego is not bigger than their gods. Some modernized Jews do not fallow these traditions.

Holy books: their main holy book is the Torah. The Torah, or otherwise translated in to instruction or teaching, is a book made up of the Jewish people’s experiences in captivity by the Babylonians and the Egyptians. Holidays: for their holidays they have the Jewish New Year witch is called Rosh hash Anqh. Also they have the Passover. On this holiday they tell of the exodus from forced enslavement in Egypt. They also have Sukkot a holiday of feasting.


These are Hanukkah candles. They are lit on Hanukkah which is the same date as Christmas. In the Jewish religion they do not celebrate Christmas because in the Christian faith it’s a holiday celebrates the first coming of Jesus. The Jewish people do not believe that Jesus was the saver

Rituals: they have lots of interesting rituals for funerals. They have to in some parts of the world Jewish people believe that they should be buried in a simple pine box. The funeral will be postponed for the Sabbath day. They postpone the funeral because they can’t work on the Sabbath day.

The Organization: the top of the social pyramid is the high priests. A little lower than them is the rabbi they are the religious teachers. Than it’s the counsel of judies that is made up of people important to the Jewish faith.

In conclusion I have learned that most of the religions share some of the same beliefs.

We can volunteer to help for a better tomorrow. There are lots of places you can volunteer. Like habitat for humanity you can help build homes for people who need it. Also you can volunteer at the homeless shelters. Its good to volunteer our time any way possible. There also is the soup kitchen. You can help serve the holes that way. It’s also good to donate. Threes all sorts of ways to donate time and food to the homeless community. Threes all ways some were that’s needs your time. You can donate to places like the salvation army of the good will. And most schools have some form of can food drive. It rely helps the needy if they can have well made meal. Also they have volunteering programs. Any help you can give to the homeless community is always greatly appreciated. Trust me if you were in their situation you would want some help to

Some informational sites on homelessness

This website has some interesting facts about homeless life in major industrial places. It has some good averages on who is the majority of homeless people. It surprised me personally that all though the majority of homeless people are single males theirs also homeless families. Also it was talking about how the food is very limited. The house prices are going up which makes it harder to have permanent shelter. The average wage for lower jobs is not very good ether. It also talks about prevention. Most of the people who have been making emergency shelter for them they have been working on prevention. They have been funding stuff to help the community. The thought is if they live in a better community they may be abele to get jobs and become a part of it. One of the things they have been funding is a library program so they can get the knowledge they need. One of the ways they get the money is by grants from the government. Also in there studies they have figured out that ones who have suffered abuse of have mental illness is are the ones that have the hardest time getting permanent housing. That’s why they create funds to help these individuals. That just about sums up what the article is about.

the life of homeless people

As part of team 3, i am excited to be blogging this year on the topic of co-existence.

In my blog I will write about problems in the homeless community. I will also be addressing how people become homeless. Some problems in the homeless community are that food is becoming more and more limited. With the economical problems in America to day less and less people are willing to give money, food and other necessary items to survive out side. This is becoming a bigger and bigger problem. As more people go hungry on the streets. It’s a very depressing life for homeless people. Some people create a stereotype for them that their people living on the highway begging for change. But the truth of it is that most of the time you cannot tell that they’re homeless. And they all don’t sleep out side in tents. Some still have their car for shelter. Even with a car for shelter it still doesn’t lighten the mood for them because they have no stable form of housing this can be very damaging for them. Also its not gust adults that are home less most of the time they have kids as well. Growing up home less can cause deep emotional damage. That’s a start about some of the problems in the home les community.
