It surprised me personally that all though the majority of homeless people are single males theirs also homeless families. Also it was talking about how the food is very limited. The house prices are going up which makes it harder to have permanent shelter. The average wage for lower jobs is not very good ether. It also talks about prevention. Most of the people who have been making emergency shelter for them they have been working on prevention. They have been funding stuff to help the community. The thought is if they live in a better community they may be abele to get jobs and become a part of it. One of the things they have been funding is a library program so they can get the knowledge they need. One of the ways they get the money is by grants from the government. Also in there studies they have figured out that ones who have suffered abuse of have mental illness is are the ones that have the hardest time getting permanent housing.
